It started well with an interesting storyline, but later became like a soap opera. At the beginning of the show, the school seemed like a place where the students had no personal lives and were under strict control. It’s hard to believe that child abuse on this scale would be allowed in modern Spain without anyone revealing it. As the show went on, the kids got away with more daring things without getting caught. Some teachers who noticed the smallest things before suddenly didn’t notice when four or five kids disappeared from their class.
There were some parts of the story that didn’t make sense and didn’t add much to the main story. For example, we don’t know what the place where Manu was being held is for, who was shooting in the woods, or what the amnesia strand added. These things were not explained at all. Overall, while The Boarding School Las Cumbres had some interesting parts, it didn’t have a satisfying storyline.
