Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway 2023 – Review:-

Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway (2023) is a gripping and emotional drama based on true events. The story follows Debika Chatterjee, an Indian mother living in Norway with her husband Aniruddha and their two children, Subh and Shuchi. Their peaceful life is shattered when officials from the Velfred organization suddenly take away their children, claiming the parents are unfit. Debika is labeled mentally unstable, while Aniruddha focuses more on securing his Norwegian citizenship than helping his family. Indian lawyer Sunil Kapoor tries to help, but Velfred manipulates the system to block the custody return. Debika later discovers that Velfred is running a scam targeting immigrant families. Feeling abandoned, she takes a bold step by rescuing her children but gets arrested at the Sweden border. The film powerfully portrays a mother’s unwavering fight against injustice and exposes flaws in child welfare systems.
